We understand that governance is the system through which Care Group West are accountable for continuously monitoring and improving the quality of their care and services provided to our Clients in the Roscommon, Galway and Mayo area. Guaranteeing continuous high standards of care and services.

Care Group West is committed to improving the quality of life and the standards of services to older People and People with disabilities.
Our core aim is to provide exceptional services which enable persons to live independently in their own homes, have a good quality of life and participate fully in their community. Care Group West will meet this aim through:

  • Providing care and support to enable our Clients to continue living at home independently and within their community.
  • Ensuring that the Client’s views and values are taken into consideration and their wishes are provided for.
  • Home care support services will be delivered in accordance with the HSE Home Care Plan and Schedule of Services.
  • Providing a high standard of care whilst ensuring that our Client’s independence, privacy, dignity and respect is always maintained.
  • The Care Services Coordinator and the individual Home Care Support Worker will liaise closely with individual Clients in order to monitor needs, identify desired outcomes, monitor and review progress.
  • Communicating clearly, effectively with our Clients and their representatives in a caring, understanding and respectful manner
  • Respecting and maintaining our Clients confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting our Clients to maintain their health and well-being in consultation with HSE personnel
